There are many AAA alternatives but the best is MCA. One alternative can be with your current automobile insurance carrier. Some people decide to choose them as an AAA alternative. Some offer a supplemental roadside assistance coverage that usually ranges from about $5 – $10 a month extra. They usually cover only towing and some other minor mishaps and requires that you contact the vendor directly (tow truck or locksmith). You are out of pocket and have to submit the bill to your insurance and reimbursements are usually sent within 1-2 weeks time. So in my opinion, this is not an option especially if you don’t have an extra couple of hundred dollars in your pocket. For something minor, an average call can range anywhere from $50-$100.

A good AAA alternative, in my opinion, would be MCA. AAA (American Automobile Association) and MCA (Motor Club of America) have similar benefits, but, MCA offers much more. The (AAA) is a roadside assistance and travel organization. It is a supplemental roadside assistance coverage that is paid on a yearly basis to be able to take full advantage of its products and services. MCA is the better AAA alternative because it is paid on a monthly basis and offers much more benefits.
